Were gonna be in chicago again in a couple weeks, but not for as long this time.

The point is, I have lqqks to create before then, and I used some mmoney I got freelancing to buy lots of fabrics and sewing supplies and there might be black lace involved.

I just had a wonderful conversation about queerness and beauty and intersectionality and Mark with a friend at knitting who saw me post about her passing and then I look at tumblr and steve has reminded us of all of marks beauty and wisdom and I just feel like I’m basking in the glow of this beautiful queen. I learned so much from her, and I’m better for having known her. Talking about her with people who try so hard to remember the right pronouns and ask brilliant questions about gender and identity and want to learn and who’s minds are opened just by hearing the story of the ways she taught me just make this life so much better.
