i always forget how amazing Fuck Buttons' "Tarot Sport" is. why don't any of you assholes every remind me?!
an accidental wikipedia rabbit hole about the Second Spanish Republic and the Spanish Civil War (brought on by a viewing of Pan's Labyrinth) Actually lead me back around to something i was intending to research earlier (The Bolshevik Revolution) but had forgotten about by now, due to movies and naps.
At any rate. I’ve read about the bolsheviks because of an early childhood interest in the Romanov family, but it’s really interesting to re-read it with eyes that don’t just assume that anyone who isn’t american who overthrows a form of government and replaces it with communism or socialism of any sort is evil. I’m definitely finding myself very impressed with the whole movement, and frankly, fuck yeah. Good for them.
